Thanks to the support of our parents and staff, the PTO raised more than $65,000 during the 2008-2009 school year.

 

The PTO spent the money raised and donated by YOU, as follows:

 

« $13,000 - directly to the teachers to supplement their classrooms

 

« $7,700 – Adopt-A-Class money collected by the PTO, also for the teachers to use in their classrooms

 

«$2,000 – to purchase two picnic tables so that our families can have lunch together outside (our business partners bought the other two tables!)

 

« $2,500 – to purchase access to ALL of the available Reading Counts quizzes – 70,000 in all!

 

« $8,000 - Adopt-a-Cause money to be used towards the purchase of new obstacle course equipment

 

« $3,000 – to the Science Lab for equipment and supplies

 

« $3,500 – for technology, used in every classroom and by every student

 

« $2,000 – to support Mileage Club

 

« $1,200 - for Staff Appreciation events

 

Other PTO-sponsored programs include:  Staff & Student recognition, DARE t-shirts, Safety Patrols, Presidential Fitness Awards, Kindergarten & Fifth Grade Graduations, Donuts with Dad, Spirit Wear, School Equipment and Improvement, Family Fun Events, Science Fair, and Meet the Teacher Night.
